First check the battery terminals for cleanliness and tightness, then check battery cables and grounds (the simple stuff...). Have the battery tested -- most major chain auto parts stores will do it for free. It's probably something simple like that. If the battery is good and all your connections are clean and tight, then dive into the more complicated things, like starter and solenoid, etc.
