B-Body springs

Will springs that are for a 90 to 96 Impala fit an 85 Delta?

I thought all B-Bodies from 77 to 96 have the same mounting for srpings

The 91-96 B-body frame is almost identical to the 77-90 frame, so yes, they should fit.

91-96 is virtually identical to the 78-90

78 is technically the new year although the 77 body is the same on most models of b body

77 and 78 were changeover years and kinda odd

some changed for 77 and others didnt til 78

even on the same platform

if you look up brake parts and some other chassis related parts they differ 77 to 78 on the same models/platform

very confusing

most sources list 78-96

I'm not sure what sources you're referring to, but all B-body cars changed to the "downsized" platform in 1977. There's no ambiguity about this. The lighter duty versions used the same 4.75" wheel lug circle and small brakes as the older A-body cars. The heavier duty versions (wagons, police, taxi, etc) used 5" lug circles and bigger brakes common to the 71-76 cars. Coil spring diameters were common between the 71-76 and 77-up cars in some cases anyway.
