adding cruise control

i would like to add cruise control to my 78 delta royale and wonder if it is possible to take all the components from a similar donor car and have it work.. anyone knowledgable on the subject? is it a seperate harness for the cruise components or do i have to splice it in? thanks in advance!

Yes, remember you need all the speedo cables, take all the wiring, brake pedal switch and cruise stock or button in the dash. If the servo happens to leak, cover it in RTV and let dry. I installed a 78 Cutlass cruise in my 88 CSC.

thanks for the info brother appreciate it! next mission is to find a car with the setup. is the harness a seperate one? i guess i'll find out either way but i like to be prepared. i have a 76 98 with it but not sure if it is compatible with the 78 i know sometimes when they change bodies everything is different.i will have to look it over. on the upside i have a nice strong 455 to replace the smooth running 350 as i am doing the whole car over
