Hi, Guys! I'm a new member with a little problem... I recently (2 months back) acquired my Mom's very clean 1985 Delta 88 Royale Brougham. I have had to daily drive the car due to other car issues in the family, (OH, DARN!!), and the car runs perfect-- but I hit a deer on my way to work two Friday mornings back.
I was able to locate a new grille, emblem and headlight frame. I need a header panel and tie bar. Which cars would have interchangeable equivalent parts?

 

I moved your post to the Eighty Eight sub forum since that's what it is, not a Ninety Eight.

The header panels interchange on all 1980-1985 Eighty Eights, 1980-1984 Ninety Eights, and 1980-1990 Custom Cruisers. Just be aware that there are two different types of header panels, so be sure you get the correct one for your car. Depending on the year and equipment, these cars could have had a one-piece grille or a two-piece grille. These two header panels are different, however the whole header and grille assembly interchanges as a unit. Since you already have the grilles, get the correct header panel for your grilles.

I have a 2 piece grille header panel here in
IL 60516 if you can't find one locally.

Thanks! I have and had the one piece grille. I had one ordered on eBay, (for a 1984 98), but the order was cancelled when they tried to up the freight from about $80 to over $200. The other issue, (new motor in my daughter's 2006 Camry) is now resolved, so I can get this addressed. Local wrecking yard said all these cars that came in have gone to the destruction derby!
