Hi There,

If possible can you describe the switch you are looking for, or tell me it's position on the dash. I might have some information or even the switch you are searching for.

it should look something like this.

it is on the right side off the steering collum, below the fake heater outlet.
placed under the dash part, close to the ash tray.

maybe others can assist me with this, couse i never had a original one.

switch off an cutlass wont fit. it is a 69 delta 88 98 part ( don't know if 70ies will fit to)

yep, that's the one. It located on the actual dash mat, hanging upside down, near the radio/ashtray. I had a used parts dealer try to give me the run around because he wanted $500.00 bucks for the switch, and wouldn't guarantee it either. I found it on ebay (of course) like this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-69-Olds...fb8e59&vxp=mtr

Even if these don't mount right, you can remove the chrome housing and put yours on it. Hope it helps. If not, just go to ebay, type in "convertible switch" in the search bar, I am sure you can browse through and find one real close.

if i had the original i will.

problem is i did order a cutlass type frome the same company you did ment.

i'm not found off what i did get. the conections will come loose and it goes not alway's back in N ( it sticks in up or down )

So not a reliable piece.

thats way i seek a original at a decent price.

all above a 50 dollars for second hand piece is to expencive.

a 16 amps on of on switch wil fit exactly in the original space. ( like those on a winch)

but need a 40 amps external relay unit,
