I guy I know has a tranny from a 60 Olds, I can get at a reasonable price. I dont have the serial # yet, was just wondering if it would bolt up to my 56 324 ? I have jetaway now and woud like to replace it with a std hydramatic. I know about the adapters from Transon for GM 350's etc. Any comments would be appreciated.

 

I didn't know how long they used the "jetaway", but I do know that they produced both the dual-range and the jetaway in 56. So now I know the 60 tranny is not what I want. Many thanks for the info,
