52 olds engine swap bolt ons?
hey guys!
now i know this is going to upset quite a few of you but im going to drop a 350/350 combo in my 52 super 88.
this is only temporary!!!!!
fact is, its going to run me 4gs plus to have my 303 and tranny rebuilt "correctly". and i can get the chevy combo super cheap.
my logic is that it will give me the opportunity to finaly drive this thing and get a real idea of where i want to go with it. while i do that i can slowly as cash allows rebuild the O.G. motor and trans.
my question is do any of you know of anyone that makes bolt on engine and tranny mounts to do this? if it needs to be welded i wont do it at all.
second is was there an A/C option for this car? if so does anyone know where i can find one?
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

I put a 455/TH400 in my '46, spent probably close to a grand to do it. Everything had to be fabricated and modified, frame crossmembers, driveshaft, transmission mount, engine mount perches, radiator, coolant hoses, battery location, inner fenders; the list is long. I am glad I have done it but it isn't cheap or easy.
