I have a 66 Delta 88 with stock wheels. I am interested in bumping up to 15 or 16 wheels, preferably in black steel. I know a lot of older Chevy 2WD truck wheels will fit. What are other good (cheap) alternatives for me? I can't seem to find what I need locally.

In 1966 Oldsmobile had optional 15" wheels available for that vehicle. The best time to buy them was with the new vehicle. Otherwise they could be obtained from the parts dept. The 15x6 was part number 381950. The 15x6-1/2 (police) was part number 386057. Unfortunately, these are not widely available currently. The 5-5 pattern was used on many wheels from many manufacturers. Hollander shows many, but that doesn't mean that they will fit the Olds properly. They don't show any interchange for the 15" Olds wheels above. Some Chevy trucks did use a 16x5 on a 5-5 pattern during the 1970s, but I can't say if they would work properly on the Olds. Also, be careful regarding clearances when switching to a larger wheel/tire combination.

Every GM full size car built from 1971-1976 used the 5x5" bolt pattern, and all used 15" wheels. The 1977-1996 RWD B/C-body cars with HD brakes (basically, every C-body car, ever B-body wagon, and B-body cars with taxi or police packages all got the 5 x 5" bolt pattern and 15x7" wheels. These are readily available all over the place.

If you can't find anything used, these wheels are available new and will take a standard full wheel cover (but not a dog-bowl style hub cap).

I replaced my 14" steel wheels with 15" steel wheels for a 95 Caprice Cop car. I bought 5 on ebay for something like $20/each. New old stock. They do not have provisions for dog dish hub caps, but I put mid 50s 15" wheel covers on them. I have a 64/98 with 4 wheel drum brakes.
