1974 Radiator clogged?

1974 Radiator clogged?

I drove my 88 today up to running temps and was looking at the WP and just happened to feel the radiator and noted that most of the lower half was cool to the touch. The top half as hot. Is this normal?

Yes that's normal hot coolant goes in the upper and lower temp out the bottom.
