1965 Delta 88 history

I try to track the history of my 1965 Delta 88. I have it for 2 years now. The car comes from Pensylvannia and probably spent most of the time there. It was sold new in Roberts Oldsmobile in Connellsville, PA. It is all original low miles car, so probably some collector had it. Here are few pictures

If anybody knows or owned this car, let me know.
And a little offtopic question - what is the best place to buy felt kit (those trim rubber edges by the windows).

Beautiful car! But, wow, in that first photo, it looks like the bumper was scraping getting it off the car carrier.

I second the motion: BEAUTIFUL car! Is that 1964 Ninety Eight behind it in one of the photos a Sports Coupe (hard for me to tell)?

The interior looks mint. Is the upholstery original?

Whats the difference between the Delta88 and a Jetstar88

Your car looks exactly like my Jetstar88, except mines a convertible

425 engine and (likley) a Turbo 400 trans in the Delta, whereas a 330 backed (likely) by a Jetaway in the Jetstar 88. 11" brakes in the Delta, 9.5" in the J88; consequently different rear axles and wheel bolt patterns (J88s can use the F85 series rims).

Most obvious external difference will be the brightwork..thick belt moldings on the Delta, thin rocker moldings on the J88, along with a high, very thin molding high up in the J88. The rocker moldings on the J88 are shared with the Jetstar I (in fact I have nice a spare set I'd sell to anyone who needed). The higher up moldings (near the top of the doors/quarters/fenders) are unique to the J88 series.

A Dynamic88 would be more likely to be confused with a Jetstar 88 based on similarlity in trim grades.

I too have a 1965 Delta 88 Holiday. Just got it 1 1/2 weeks ago! All original with 54,280 miles. Meticulous paper work regrding purchase and maintainence. Mine is a light blue, loaded with options. Sidelined already with a leaky fuel pump. Just got the replacement in 3 days ago. Yours is very nice looking.

I believe I will try to keep mine looking completely stock but make some mods no one will see.
