never mind the rust holes...what were the round holes on the dash for?

 

I think it was called an electric eye. This apparatus would kick your lights automatically down when on coming cars approached. They come up on Ebay from time to time... Tedd

thanks for the conformation..i thought it might have been that..but didnt want to throw that out there..i wanted to see if you guys came up with the same..now i know for sure..hell i didnt even know what one was till about 5 days ago..so now i know im NOT going to weld them shut i will be putting one in it down the road..thanks again eveyone
