Richmond gears, What do I have?

I am looking for help figuring out how to straighten out my mess.

I have an 8.2 BOP rear and it has an Eaton posi unit in it. Part#19603-010 which as it turns out is for a Chevy 8.2. I am not sure how this is but it has been working fine for the past ten years. What I am looking to do is replace the 3.91 gearing with a 3.36 or 3.55 gear set.

What I am not sure of is which gear set to buy based off carrier series. If I could find out which gear set this is it would help. The part # is 82-0552-1. I cant find anything on the Richmond site that matches that number.

Since this is a Chevy carrier does anyone know if I can run a set of Chevy axles without the c-clips? Is the outboard bearing surface the same diameter on the BOP non c-clip axles as they are on the Chevy c-clip axles?

Thanks
Rob

I'd call Richmond Gear and ask them about that part number. If anyone knows, they should.
