72 cutlass supreme
My cutlass says on the axle tube sa b253 i know the` sa means 2:73 but the b253 what is that ? Also the chrome piece that goes on the back below the rear window with vynl top. Are they put on with screws or clips. My panel does not have any holes for studs to be put in to. Thanks jim

SA = 2:73 non-posi
B = Buick plant
253 = 253rd day of the year. That is the date the rear was finished. Your car was NOT built in Lansing,correct? The original drums,if still intact,will have the Buick trishields cast into them.
As for your trim,there should be clips for the trim to snap into.
