For all you concourse resto guys, does anyone know the specs. for the placement of the color code band on the driveshaft???????

 

Great question. All I did was note the location of where the band outlines were before I sanded it down. Mine is yellow & black. I've never seen a reference to width and location of these bands in any of the assembly manuals.

 

I did not have any color bands on driveshaft before i started resto. Does anyone have accurate photos of color bands on a 1970 cutlass drive shaft.
