Eaton Posi vs Eaton/Detroit Truetrac

I just picked up an Eaton Posi unit (19559-010 30 spline) from Summit. I am just wondering if I should gone with the Eaton Truetrac instead. Is one better than the other? It will be 95% street driving with some drag racing a few times a month in the summer.

Not sure, but is the correct Truetrac below for a 8.5" corporate ($70 cheaper than the Eaton Posi 19559-010)? I am going to use 30-spline Moser axles. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DTL-913A481/

With both of these diffs... when you nail it on a dry road, you will get the dual patch effect?

The TruTracs are nice, but they are not intended for dragstrip use. They are a nice alternative for the G-machine/road-course guys. With your application, you would be fine with one,but I still think the Eaton clutch type unit that you bought,is the way to go.
