Limited slip lube

99% of gear lube will still need the additive. Many bottles will say on them something to the affect that it is good for posi, or limited slip but it is just marketing. You still need the additive. Many people use the Mopar stuff because it is the lowest price. It is all the same stuff.

I agree. AC Delco 4 ounce bottle is about $20.

Where you buying it at??? I think they're jacking you. The full retail GM parts counter price for the Delco version is $13.46. GM p/n 88900330 (Delco p/n 10-4003)

I think in this particular case you can save money on additive from Delco vs Mopar. At the moment, and not sure how long this "sale" will last, it's $7.23 to the door from Amazon (free ship with prime or minimum of I think $35 purchase without prime. Still less than the $75 min for free shipping at Morris 4x4 Center). I think I'll stock up on a few bottles of the Delco stuff from Amazon.

If you want to use the Mopar stuff for cheaper, though, you can get 2 bottles of it from Ebay for $13.75 ($6.875 each bottle) shipped.

I didnt buy it. This price is from the local auto parts store near me. I just checked ebay and they're also listed for $20 a bottle.

Well, now you know. Buy it locally at your nearby store or on ebay, and you'll get ripped off. Paying over retail price in an emergency is one thing. But 20 per bottle? Heck, I'll sell them all day long at 15 to the people that's actually buying them for 20.

I just ordered up 3 bottles from Amazon for the price of around 1 on ebay. If it's at 20 per bottle no matter where you're finding it, they're definitely jacking anyone who's buying it at that price. I'm not sure I'd want to shop at your local store. Sometimes you can't get stuff at a lower price, but in this case you surely can.

True. Nothing wrong with your link. I'm pretty sure your point was they're pretty much all the same so buy it where you find it the least expensive.

But like all things that are sold virtually everywhere, you can usually find a good deal on it if you're willing to turn over a few rocks. It's all about the math and your wallet in getting where you want to go. I only had one on the shelf so I figured at the Amazon price I'd pick up a few more.
