U Joint Centreing Ball

Hello,
Trying to remove the centre ball on a 1973 delta driveshaft.
Looks like a special puller is needed, has anyone improvised to remove the ball,
without the special puller

regards, Cus

OK, got the little sucker off, gave it a good spray of "freeze it", used a mini claw puller,
& it popped off,

regards, Cus
