New driveshaft mfg?

Are there any companies that reproduce a complete driveshaft for a 1970 442 with TH400 ? Thanks

Most of your local truck drive line places can make NEW driveshafts too. Look in your area if you live by a large city.

Just to be clear, while driveshaft shops can easily make new driveshafts for pretty much any configuration, they won't be "reproductions". Few shops use the factory-style tubes that neck down at the ends - the new shaft will be constant diameter. And of course, no one reproduces the original rubber-bonded concentric shafts used on AT cars. The new one will work just fine, but it won't be a correct reproduction for a 100 point restoration.

Rob Brombacketr of RTB Restorations makes a superb product for Mopars. Reclaims the cast end yokes and welds them to a new tube. Correct swaging, weights, bearing cup retainer at the rear, and weld heat effected zones even for the seam running the length of the tube. He has done a few for Camaros and I think for Mustangs. I believe the situation is he's a one person, part-time operation and can't extend himself any further. Hopefully he finds a way to do so without sacrificing the quality of his current product.

The Parts Place was selling new driveshafts of the popular lengths. A friend performing concours restorations had a customer supply him with one. They sent it back. I didn't see it but he related it was inadequate for high-end restorations.
