I have the 69 oldsmobile "12" bolt ( 10 bolt pinion) with a 3.08 and posi traction, I would like to freshen up the posi unit and might as well change the bearings and axle/pinion seals etc, does anyone sell a kit? thought I saw it over on brothers but then read bad things about them, sent an email to jd race but no reply? maybe it got blocked.

anyway any thoughts? I need to put the rear back in but am considering upgrading the rear to disc brakes and will need to take it apart anyway so now is the time I guess.

that takes care of the bearings and stuff does the clutch pack from the 8.5 chevy work?

was looking for something like the supercar unlimited kit

 

The 8.5" 10-bolt posi clutches are the same,& will work in the O-axle posi unit.The clutches for the Eaton units will NOT work.Ratech is making the clutch kits now.GM discontinued them about a year ago.They were part number 231127.
