Correct w27 rear detailing

Does anyone know the correct w27 detailing process? Were the tubes bare metal with black fogged in or are they all black? Anyone with proof positive info?

Yup, bare metal. Joe is the w-27 expert and I have only owned three w-27s one NOS. Mine is bare on my car. Lee

Are there variations? This one seems to have black paint on it, but not entirely. Any pics of yours you can post?

Hi Lee, Thanks for the pic. Perhaps you can answer my other question in the suspension section?
