yOU CAN FIT THE 10 BOLT 8.5 REAR INTO THE 66 - you will need to nick the drive shaft some. ALWAYS try to fit the drive shaft first before assuming the drive shaft is the original to the car. IT MAY fit.

The 1966 years was a touchy year with rear end width. ALL 67 rears were wider - early 66 was narrower and later 66 were wider going into the 67 era year. Jim
