any suggestions on what I can do to this car besides getting a new engine ( Im currently saving) posi rear? dual exhuast? any ideas would help me

gears and tires are a big help, these cars are pretty light and need all the help they can get. im assuming you've got a 3.8, or a 307.. in either case, a motor swap would have the most impact, unless you somehow turbo the 3.8, but at that point you would swap in a motor from a grand national, then you get all the correct parts. i myself also have an '88 cutlass supreme, that i swaped in a 455 on a th350 that i rebuilt, it was definitly an improvement, although i had to remove the spare tire hump in the trunk, and repostition the gas tank so exhaust could run through on both sides, without resriction. not a bad car to start with though, pretty much the pinacle of g-body hardware, being the last year.

Do the exhaust like you said, put some mags on the back, tint the windows and just let it be. Nice car. My first car was an 87 Cutlass Supreme.
