Hi, new to the site. I inherited 1970 delta88 convertible w 455 owned by my late aunt since new. Rear end is very loud. I replaced the axel bearings, sounds like ring and pinion noise, possible bearings. Does any one sell bearings, gears etc? Can I swap rear end with other makes same vintage? Other option is have ford 9 fab bed and replace entire unit not sure how feasible w upper control arm mounting locations. As an a Aside really no front replacement rotors available ? Thanks in advance for any info.

What is your location? I have a whole rear end for sale here.

 

Bearings should be available from any auto parts store. Aftermarket ring and pinion gear sets will likely not be available, so you would have to locate a used GM set.

 

 

Sorry for late response .I live in Massachusetts . What is year,mileage , condition, gear ratio, limited slip, etc. What price are you thinking . Do you have other parts available . Thanks
