This is probably a no brainer question, but need to know before I pull the trigger on a 69 Cutlass S. I have an extra 1972 442 Ram air intake hood? will that fit a 1969 cutlass?

1970 fits 1969. 1971/72 does not. Just go look at the leading edge of your 72 hood and compare it to the leading edge of the 69 hood. The 71/72 hoods are slightly longer because they don't use the "hockey stick" chrome trim AND the leading edge of the hood is notched because the grilles stick up into it. It's pretty obvious if you go to Google Images and look at 1970 and 71/72 cars.
