hello all,
i am new to this site....owner of a white 1994 olds cutlass convertible. i have attended a great show in michigan the last few years. it is all olds ,from curved dashes...to some of the last 500 achievas built. low key show ...not big into judging....just a great show and shine...and lots of parts available and many cars for sale.

date is june 14th and 15th. the saturday being the main show day.

just wondering if any owners here have ever been to that particular show....and what you thought about it.

I have been there 2 times. great show. Many people like it better than the nationals.

 

I attended in 2012 for the first time and it was GREAT.

 

I agree, great show. I go every year. Gonna be in the swap meet this year.

BTW, I think you mean "last 500 Aleros"...

I have been going there since 1996. The show has slipped some! It used tobe in classes and peer judged. Still the biggest Oldsmobile show anywhere including the nationals, except for any national held in Lansing.

thanks for all of your hard work pat. i would imagine that it must take a lot of workers doing a lot of work to put on a show of that magnitude.

i have seen several cars there that i had never seen before.

it draws a great crowd. the friday night show on the main drag of diamondale is a great part of the show too. you get a chance to meet some of the participants the night before the big show. it is casual and fun. bring a lawn chair.
