1994 CS Convertible

I just got another Oldsmobile. A 1994 CS convertible, loaded with 3.4 DOHC, leather, etc. No rust as it was a Florida car, but will need sorting out when the weather gets warmer and I can work on it. I got it pretty reasonable ($1,000) so I think it will be worth putting a little into it. I think it will need motor mounts and U-joints as it clunks when putting it in gear. Any other reason it would do that? Otherwise, it shifts and runs fine.
One thing I need to know, if anyone has a car like mine, is what is missing from the top of the windshield frame? The top locks into place but there is a gap between the convertible top and the top of the windshield. Is there a rubber piece that I am missing? I stuffed some of those foam hot water pipe insulators in the gap and it works fine but of course I want to fix it right.
I don't really know a lot about FWD cars so Guess I'll have to learn.
Thanks
Higgins

I was putting in some pictures but my computer froze up on me. So here are the photos of my newest Olds.

thats pretty nice for a grand ,the clunking may be CV joints ,most front drive will need
them at some point. My grand caravan just got new strut assemblies as there was a noise
coming from the front when turning ,turns out the spring was broken .Good luck

I had one of these a few years back, I'm thinking there was a piece of hard rubber that was there. Watch out for leaks & fix 'em as SOON as they show up. I never got mine right and sold it out of frustration. Your 24DOHC badge should be in front of the front wheel, not behind it. Perhaps the car was repainted?

I didn't notice the badges were in the wrong place. Thanks. I'll probably just leave them there as it would probably be too hard to move them without messing up the paint.
