Hurst Pro-matic ratchet shifter in stock console

Just wanted to share this with the community in case anyone else was thinking about trying something similar. It only took some minor trimming on the inside of the console to get it just right. The car is a '70 Cutlass

No kidding! - I'm really liking the look of that setup....very clean looking install. Thanks for the pics.....time to look up the shifter setup at Summit.

Thanks guys. I already had the shifter and I found the console locally so I decided I would see if I could make it work before buying an Olds shifter. I'm happy with it and saved some money
