Ok, I'm going to think I have this one already answered, but here's the question. As is extremely common with these cars I have water coming into the passengers side floor. We had a very rainy wet drive home from VT to CT yesterday and I noted water drops dripping down along the rim/edge of the kick panel where it meets the passenger door.


My thought is the seal is bad on the HVAC lid/top and the force of driving the car at highway speeds pushed the water leaking into it, back that far to leak in that spot. Had I not been moving I believe it probably would have dripped right at the middle of the glove box.


Does this sound about right or would someone have another area where I could look. The heater core was replaced in 1994. I'm about due to replace it again as well as the A/C Accumulator so perhaps I can get this issue resolved too.

I'd check the drain.. for the heater box, if it has crap in it blocking the drain.. the water pools..
