Will '72 Cutlass fan shroud fit '73?

I need a decent fan shroud for my "74 daily driver Cutlass Supreme. 350 with AC. I realize the body styles are different, but the '73-'77 use the same radiators as the '69-'72 models, and they have a similar top plate. The shrouds "look" the same, but I know that can be deceiving. Has happened to me before on things. I can get new shrouds for the older '69-'72s, but not these newer ones. I am looking for function. Mine is got a peice missing out of it. Does anyone have experience with using this older part in these cars? Or better yet, does anyone have a good '73-'77 Shroud? Thanks for your time.

The shrouds are different and won't interchange. I'm sure I've got an extra 73-77 shroud, if you'll send me a message this Saturday to remind me I'll dig it out and send you some photos. Also I live in Oregon. If you live far far away it might save you some $$ to create a parts wanted thread and try to find one close by. Mine would be $20 plus shipping, so if you find one with cheaper total costs go for it!

If just function is needed, grab a thin piece of sheet metal like hvac stuff, cut/bend it to fit, and pop rivet it over the bad spot. 20 minute fix.

This is only ideal if you have stuff like that laying about of course. $20 for 2blu's shroud sounds a little easier at this juncture though

+1. Any sheet metal at all will work (ahem... road signs...), and, if you don't have a pop rivet gun, nuts and bolts are fine, too.

Windsor and Detroit, no?

Up here it's Lewiston and Auburn.

'Course it could be Kansas City and Kansas City...
