tranny swap
#2
Depends on which motor you car has in it. If it's a Chevy motor, this is an easier swap than if you have an Olds motor. The 700R4 was never built with a BOP bellhousing, so you'd need an adapter for an Olds (or other non-Chevy) motor. Of course the 700R4 is a unique length, so you'd also need the correct aftermarket trans crossmember and drive shaft. The 200-4R is a much easier swap, though you still need the correct crossmember and frame reinforcement on the pre-84 cars.
