Yes they were an option. You can find originals or they are reproduced.

The factory passenger side mirror option was for the manual mirror only. A passenger side mirror matching a remote driver side mirror was not available. Look at Fusick's (www.fusick.com) for their on-line catalog, part number SM686R. It seems odd to me now that we used to drive cars without a passenger side mirror because they are pretty much standard now. But we did. Both my '68 4-4-2 and my '69 4-4-2 have the remote driver side mirror so their is nothing on the passenger side.
