77 cadillacs had disc brakes, but the rearend may be 1" wider, and have a 2.28 gear. Jim at Jdrace.com would know more about the upper control arm situation.
77-up firebirds had discs too, but those rear axles won't bolt in.

The 1975-79 Caddy Sevilles had rear disks (and a fuel injected Olds 350 motor). Unfortunately those cars are based on the Nova/Omega X-body platform and have rear leaf springs. You CAN use the calipers and brackets for those cars and get Firebird rotors with the correct 4.75" bolt circle. I scored a set at a local wrecking yard last summer. The other late 70s Caddys with rear disks were the Eldos, which are FWD. You can adapt the caliper brackets from these cars to the Cutlass axle. Similarly, you can adapt the Firebird caliper brackets.

Staggered shocks means that one shock is in front of the axle and one is behind. Look under the back of your car and you'll see that both shocks are behind the axle, which means they are non-staggered.
