Rear 1970 Quarters
The Mill Supply listing for them says that the quarters fit the Cutlass convertible and the Cutlass Supreme (non fastback style).

The quarter skins would be the same hardtop of conv sincce they only over 80%, but obviously, full quarters are different between hardtop and conv. It looks like you have a convertible - why not buy the full conv repros which are only $400 each (vs $250 for skins) and MUCH easier to install as you won't have a long horizontal weld like you would with the quarter skin. I bought the full ones for my car and they worked great.
Thanks for the quick reply guys, I was looking at a donor car in Arizona. It has good front fenders witch I need plus interior. Trying to see how much of the car I can use for mine.
I wonder if that long horizontal weld and the way it was attached in other places was the reason the quarter tore off that smashed Cutlass like it did?

Yes, that's the reason!
Full qtrs. include the striker pate, lower window, some of the sail panel, trunk edge, and the taillight pocket to the rear body panel.
Much stronger for a hit like that!
Looks like sloppy installation on the crashed car!!

Tamraz. But I guess it was 3 years ago and price went up. Either way the
Partial skins fit conv and hardtop but you have a long weld that will eventually
Show thru the paint IMO. Some repros are crap but The full repros for this 70-72 conv application fit very decently with just minor tweaking. The bonus is that the seams are all hidden where you weld (doorjamb and trunk w-strip channel, etc). Only weld visible is the 5 inches at top of quarter between trunk and conv top well. This was originally leaded at the factory but my painter welded a solid plate there.
Unless you are a good welder for the repro skins I liked the full full quarters as I am an amateur and installed them myself fairly easy. To me, Worth the extra money for much less hassle.

If you were having a shop do the install, they'd probably charge an additional 5-10 hours, per side, for the partial qtrs, as you've a long cut, fitting and welding, and then long bondo to finish!
At $40-$50 an hour - the full qtrs. are a much better deal - both in fit and finish, let alone price!
