Random 1964 Rear quarter window question

I am trying to rebuild my 1964 Cutlass two door post rear window channels.
I have had issues with these rear windows for a long time. I am asking for anyone to post how there rear windows roll up and own on a 1964 or 65 two door post.
I feel like I am missing something in the operation of the rear window. When I rolled mine down they would tilt with the upper forward corner rubbing in the forward channel.
Is that how they are supposed to roll down?

Sedan window wouldn't tilt like a convertible or a hardtop, are the window mechanism correct? Need to get a factory body manual, check ebay, there usually 20-30 bucks.

I do have the manual. Doesn't show operation. I do know I need to find new plastic guides

Plus I'm wondering if I'm supposed to have some kind of edge trim on the glass. I have seen some other 2 door post with a chrome trim on the forward edge of the glass
