Rallye 350 Sightings

Today I went to the body shop that will be working on my Cutlass, and I see they're just finishing up a repaint of a "real deal" (supposedly) Rallye 350! It looked the part with the OAI 350 and painted bumpers; it had a black interior with bucket seats, A/C and cruise control. It had "33687 LAN" and no paint code on the body plate, but I didn't know what else to look for to verify it as a real Rallye 350. I know of another Rallye 350 in the area (saw it at a local car show) but it had a bench front seat, no A/C and no cruise control. I didn't try to verify that one, but the owner had lots of Rallye 350 literature with it.

they were available with most any option other than the manditory ones that the W45 had. most were bench seats cars originally. you could have A/C on any of the automatic cars. there is no way to prove a Rallye 350 without documentation. there are signs that will help determine a Rallye but nothing concrete without the documentation.
