Question about Parking Lamps

Noticed on my 66 that I have turn signals but no parking lights and I do not know if I am suppose to have parking lights. Just want to know if that is the way it is suppose be, before I decide to go and replace bulbs that may not need replacement.

You are aware that in 1966, the parking lights only come on with the headlight switch in the first position and go off again when the switch is pulled all the way out to the headlights-on position, right? That's just the way it was. If the park lights do not come on with the switch in the first position, they you have a problem.

Thanks Joe for the info. I didn't know. In park lamp position they do come on and then they go off when the headlights are turned on. I was beginning to think that either I have a bad ground somewhere or both bulbs were bad somehow. Now I know I am good to go.

Park lights came on with headlights in '68 along with side marker lights
