Post car door compatibility?

Post car door compatibility?
I was wondering if there was a way to combine a non post door with a non post door?
Example: actual door is rusted but the post part is nice, can it be swapped with a non post door by replacing parts? Or do i need to find a post door?

Sounds like you just want to use donor lower door for an old scabby one? If I was a betting man (and I am) I'd bet that the lower section will be a straight across patch. You're not going as high as the regulators are you? Measure 2x, cut 1.

Joe,
Do you think there was a separate part number for the post coupe door skins,or were the modified at the factory?I've never seen a set of skins that were specific for the post coupe, but I do know what you mean by the notches for the windows.

It makes sense.I wonder if anyone has had a set of post coupe skins, and not realized it,or didn't realize it until they hung them. The notches are rolled, just like the rest of the top.I think you "could" duplicate the lines, with a hardtop door skin, but you would need the right tools, and some skill.

Sicky, Henry does have post cars but his yard is looking thin these days. Most of the cars are decaying really badly or are sunken in the ground so most of the lower body panels are gone. I've walked his yard a few times, the last time being the beginning of last year. He may have gotten new cars though.
It'd be worth a shot, or next time my dad runs over there I can have him talk to him about a door. Just let me know.
