Question New 1967 Cutlass Owner – Production Number Question

Hello everyone! New member and new owner of a 1967 Cutlass 2dr Holiday Coupe w/ 330 4bbl passed down from family.

I'm having difficulty tracking how many of the model/engine combinations I own were produced in 1967. The best I've gotten so far is finding that 12k Cutlass Holiday Coupes were produced. I'm trying to figure out of that 12k, how many had the 330 4bbl. Even better would be how many of those only came with the W code option of just front glass tint.

Any help, insight, or info is greatly appreciated. Thank you all!

welcome to ClassicOldsmobile - do you have car and body tag pictures you can post?

1967
Cutlass V8 = 78,112 total
3669 * town sedan = 29,062
3617 * holiday coupe = 29,799
3639 * holiday sedan = 7,344
3667 * convertible = 3,777
3635 * 2 seat station wagon = 8,130

the problem with OPTION numbers: the numbers were tabulated in June 1967 before the end of production in July 1967 and ONLY cover 89.5% of TOTAL production & they are NOT broken down by model

OPTION installation rates for 69,932 Cutlass V8s (89.5% of total production)
92.9% w/L65 - 330 2bbl STANDARD = 64,967
04.7% w/L73 330 4bbl low compression = 3,335
02.4% w/L74 330 4bbl high compression = 1,731
00.0% w/L76 cop engine 330 4bbl = 3
00.0% w/L77 cop engine 400 4bbl = 9

41.7% w/A02 tinted windshield = 29,162

I appreciate the info.

So would it be fair to use the following linear sales logic since there are no exact records?

Holiday coupes = 38% of all Cutlass V8 production

3,335 330 4bbl low compression @ 89.5% = 3,725 @ 100%

So 38% of 3,725 = 1,415 330 4bbl low compression Cutlass Holiday Coupes?

NO - that logic increases the ERROR and has ZERO basis in fact - a larger percentage of 4bbl convertibles or station wagons may have been built, or was it the 4-doors? & the last month+ of production could be skewed for/against the 4bbl engine to install unused inventory

just go with ****** approximately 7.1% of Cutlass V8s had an OPTIONAL 4bbl engine (1 out of every 14 built)
