My 77 Salon project

I've had this car since 1983, in 1986 it became a project, after sitting in a garage since 1987, it's again a project.....soon to be finished (well probably never FINISHED), but on the road anyway.

Looks like you got yourself a great starting point to work with. What else do you need to do to get it on the road, aside from putting in a rear window?

Wow you filled in the side windows. I had a 76 and am not sure that's something I would have done but it looks good.
And look at the old Illinois plates. Haven't seen those for a while.

Mostly finishing stuff. It's going to paint this week, then get it back together and get the interior put in. When the project started, in 86, I rebuilt the motor, trans, and diff, replaced all suspension bushings, ball joints, steering components, etc. It's pretty much driveable right now, just want it to look gooood.

JRsixx......
I drove past that car a week ago in a blue 94 Caprice. I stopped by for a few minutes and checked it out.
Do you work at the Shell in the mechanic bays?
