JunkYard parts

are thier any sway bars that are interchangable with a 72 cutlass or should I just look for one off a cutlass?

Sway Bar

The 1970's Trans Am used a 1 1/4" front sway bar that will fit. I had to work a little to get the two brackets that hold it to the frame to line up with the bolt holes. But it's on there. John

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it was my understanding that all A-body front sway bars interchange from 1968-1972.

Yes they will, but the factory bars wern't very large. The one I suggested is for someone who wants a larger than factory bar. John
