I would imagine that "project" wasn't cheap. I'm sure they spent many dollars. Mind boggling.

Oh what the hell are people on. I do body work and paint and let me tell you I would not take pride in painting that. I would tell them do not tell them I did it. Ahhhhh that is an eye sore. I prefer to wake up to my dog taking a dump in the kitchen than having that in my driveway.

I think everyone should be able to do what ever they want to their own car...but that is ridiculous!

Wait a minute. I just reread the ad, and it might not be such a bad deal. How many girls come with the pimp mobile, and how old are they?

I think this is where matchbox gets it's revenge from back in the day when they used to sell those lil cars with oversize wheels. That generation is now hittin the payback streak. IMO, the name on that car says it all 'Wonka NERDS'. Only one spelling error; should be Wonky instead of Wonka....

The question in my mind is...why? It's bad enough that this entered into one person's mind but I suspect there were others that agreed that it would be a cool car. These people need to lay off the drugs.

What a waste of a 70!
I think it is Allan's, he found it in his backyard after the snow pack had receded!

What really sets it off is the Ford f-350 inlet scoops on the fenders. I can just hear this guy's friends saying " coooool! Good idea!"

BARF. I've seen similar monstrosities at Myrtle Beach every year when they have annual bike rallies. And it seems like there's more early 70's Cutlass models that get this treatment than any other brand. The owners are paid by promotional companies to rape their classics like this. GAG>>>> (there oughta be a law!)

I see them too, they are everywhere and everybody style out there especially the A-bodies My question is this, are they getting this done with a sponsorship? I mean is Wonka paying them for the advertisement? I see all types like Skittles, Reeces Pieces, etc

If they are sponsoring this nonsense then I won't buy their product.

AFAIK, No. There is no corporate sponsorship. These clowns just 'brand' their creations in a desperate stab at legitimacy. Maybe they think by covering it with corporate logos, it will make people think that others (i.e. the corp types who would have to approve such a sponsorship) believe that there is some value in these monstrosities. Its an attempt to over ride intelligent people's (correct) assessments that these things are just an idiotic, artistically bereft , and ultimately pointless customization.

The 'corp logos as legitimacy' mindset is deep in the ghetto. That's why you see ghetto fashion including things like UPS/FedEx/USPS items.

This is "mean" looking.......it has a nice "stance." I'm sure some will disagree but I think it really compliments the car. They should have painted the inner wheels though =/

But all the other cars being posted up top .......OMG Kill me now.

If this isn't sarcasm then I wonder what stance you are talking about...is it the "I can drop the transmission without jack stands stance"? And how is it "mean" if it invokes laughter at every imaginable level?

You know those people covering their mouths and pointing as you drive by? They're not complementing you

Those rims look hideous. I bet the first thing the person that buys that car does is get rid of those rims.

Shoot me for saying this if you must, but this is a good-looking car. The Kansas "442" needs the interior gutted and a 455 but that is all...that ATL car does make me want to barf tho...

I'd rather have the other one for $15, but I can add this one to the hotwheels collection in the closet. I wonder if this was sponsored by the candy company? It might be collectable!
