Headlight bezel question 72 cutlass

I noticed that on some 1972's, like the w30 with the fiberglass hood, the headlight bezels seem to be on a slant pointing toward the center, while the regular cutlass they seem to be lined up with the front bumper and grille straight across. Is this some kind of different mounting or are the slanted ones just mounted wrong? Here's a pic of a slanted one:

The passengers side looks crooked compared to the drivers side.

The passenger side bezel is upside down. The thick end goes towards the grill.

Joe gave you the answer for the headlight bezel (which is a pet peeve of mine BTW). Also don't get to enthralled with what you are calling a W30 car, because it sure isn't. That car has a 350 4bbl and likely a TH350 trans. To be a W30, it would need the L77 engine, OW trans, an X in the VIN and a host of other upgrades to the suspension and exhaust. Did you notice the W25 underhood componenst are missing and it has a stock air cleaner? Also of note, the heat shroud is on the wrong side - which would indicate it may not be the original engine. The ad for this car simply says 442 convertible and cloning a 72 is one of the easiest 442's to do. Totally incorrect striping on the car, wrong mirrors, and none of the 442's in 72 came with a deck lid wing. Notably none of the 70-71 442 verts ever came with a deck lid wing either.

Ad says the car is sold. But WOW! That's a huge amount of money for a car with a questionable pedigree.

Thank you that solves that question. The car I'm talking about is one that's locally available, not the one in the pic. I just used that pic as an example of what It looks like. So just to get this correct, if it looks like the bezels are on a slant that's because they are upside down?

Yes, that will also affect where the 'cutouts' are for adjusting the headlight alignment.
