guess i waited too long

I was gonna send my stuff to be replated. Does anyone know of another place that does vacuum plating?

That sucks. Unfortunatly they won't be the last before this is all over. I don't know who you would go to now. My stuff I sent to Mr G's came back looking like dog crap.

bummer for them, that stinks and they probably made it through the toughest of the tough times. But you could have been fortunate. I sent my carb to a place that cloised down while it was there and never saw it.

A place called "Chrome Tech" gets pretty good reviews over on V8Buick.com....you might check them out:

Richard - try Economy Plating in Balch Springs. He does powder coating and chrome. He did the bumpers on my friends 54 convertible. For chrome plating, I think his prices were reasonable.

Those guys didn't do chrome. They did the plastic chome and very few places do it. The place that closed down above was known to to do a very good job.
