Computer Program for Car Maintenance
Does anyone know of a program to keep track of maintenance and work we do on our cars? I just realized today, that my spark plugs on my 72 Cutlass are over 6 years old and have about 35,000 miles on them. The car still runs okay I guess, but I have felt my fuel mileage is down. I probably have been slowly losing performance so gradually that I haven't noticed.
I use a Pertronix, so I never have points that wear, so I just forgot about the plugs. I have files full of reciepts for everything, but keeping track of 3 old cars (4 if I include my 89 Suburban) manually is hit or miss.
Anyone know of a program for a hobbiest, not a professional to use?

henryk8398,
I tried the link for Autoplus, but the download said the program had no files. Either they pulled it or I'm missing something.
I think years ago, Microsoft Works had some kind of vehicke maintenance program, but I no longer have Works.

I have an excel spreadsheet for each vehicle. First page is for everything except oil changes, and the second page is just oil changes.
I made columns for date, mileage, procedure(s), place, cost, and comments.
I also color coded the text. Red for major repairs, green for coolant changes, green for tires, blue for batteries.
If you do not have excel, other spreadsheets can work fine.
