I've got to do the same...my 72 Cutlass is sitting pretty low in the rear. Care to share the process? Where did you get the new springs? Did you go with stock or something else? Thanks. Any before and after pics?

I just put car on jack stands on both sides and removed the lower shock bolt, that gave enough wiggle room to get springs out. But I am no pro at this, so do a search and Im sure you'll see the post that I used as a guide(cant remember name of post though) As far as springs, I used Hotchkins 1" drop all around(not sure its a drop, but old springs were saggin) the pic in my sig is before I switched out springs and the wifes sister borrowed our camera so no pics of it now.

Ok well I wouldnt listen to me...for some reason the rear end passenger side is around .5-.75" taller than the drivers rear side? I replaced both springs and shocks(made sure to put the springs in same placement as they were before)...Anyone have any idea's?

Just make sure ya have enough slack on the rear rubber brake hose so it doesnt stretch and brake when the rear drops down....maybe the springs were mismatched....maybe something heavy in the trunk...lol...ya may need a spacer on the one side or try another spring.

I'd be tempted to switch the springs side to side and see if the problem moves. Other than that I've heard of putting a shim under/above the spring on the low side. I think it was in the book "101 GM Muscle Car Performance Projects" but can't remember for sure.
