Best Tires for 69 olds cutlass s?

I have 215 75R 14 tires on my car now, I need 2 tires and they don't seem to be that available. Just wondering what tires might perform best, before I buy. Thought it might be better to buy 4 matching if that size is not the best for the car. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks for any assistance.

If you have the standard 14X6 wheels still on your car, I would stay with the same size tire, or go to a 215 70R 14 tire. The 215 75R 14 tire size is still available; the tire company you go to might have to order them in and it will take a few days, but they are still made in that size. I've noticed on my '68 that the 215 70R 14 tires rub ever so slightly in the front when the steering wheel is hard right or hard left so I don't push the steering wheel all the way when I turn. Hope this helps.

Smile Boots

I'm using 225X60R 14 on the front of our '68s x3 and on two of them 255X60R 15 on the rear...lots of room in the rear...no rubbing on ours on the fronts...but with Ram Air I would not use anything larger than 195s..they WILL rub through the scoops!! front clearance seems to depend on the condition of the springs.
