-92 Cutlass, good car?

The time has come to get rid of my problematic Jag, and since my olds is pretty much the best car i have ever owned (apart from the transmission issue).
I would like to get a newer Oldsmobile to use as the daily driver to and from work and so on.

Most of all i would like to get an Aurora or Bravada, but they are very rare in sweden, the only "newer" Olds i can find right now is a -92 Cutlass 2-door, with the 140hp 3.1 litre V6 and 5 speed manual.

Its in good condition both in and outside, it has done 160.000 miles and the asking price is about 2.000$

And now, some questions :
How are these cars to live with?
What problems should i look out for?
Are they comfortable/roomy inside? (Im 6 foot 5 inches tall)
What mpg can i expect?

Thanks in advance!

My Mother bought a 90 Cutlass new, the 92 should be pretty much the same car.

The 3.1 is a decent motor, and is a Chevy. Excuse me, a GM Corporate. It gave us low 30s in mpg on the highway. It wasn't spectacular but didn't give us any trouble. I seem to remember needing two injectors when the car was about two years old, I'm guessing the car you're looking at has passed its teething problems.

Ours had the base interior, which was not unlike sitting on burlap bags. Not terribly comfortable but possibly later years changed the interior, and some(most) cars got an upgraded interior. Long trips were not too taxing on the body. It fit me just fine at 5-10, and my Mom is quite a bit shorter.

I can't speak for longevity because we sold it after 7 years and 50,000 miles.

I've seen lots and lots of this style Cutlass, and still see them regularly, so they must hold up pretty well. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
