65 F85 convertible

I bought a 65 cutlass convertible last fall. I believe it to be mostly original with the exception of a terrible paint job. The person I got it from told me it originally came from Virginia. In fact, there's still a parking sticker on the rear bumper from Lynchburg College dated 1985. The trunk pan and rear body mounts were shot, but the rest of the car is clean and rust free. I took care of those problems early this spring (lots of cutting, grinding, welding and painting) and I've put close to 1000 miles on the ticker so far since then.

Just curious where you are, and how far the car has made it away from Lynchburg?

1990 OCA Nationals in Ohio, someone had a 64 Jetstar I in the car corral that still had a "WDVA 1250 in Dixie" bumper sticker and a Swanson Oldsmobile license frame from here in Danville VA (60 miles S of Lynchburg). So that one had made it a few hundred miles from home.

I live in Merrimack, NH, I got the car from a person in Seabrook, NH and he said he bought it from someone in Maine. The people from Maine apparently bought the car from Virginia.

I'm sure there have been several owners over the years, but the interior is original and in excellent condition. It's hard to believe that 45 years of top-down driving didn't damage it!
