Should we tell him how many times some of us have gone down the aisle?

Post pics as soon as you can. I hope yours is in better shape than mine. What are your plans for the car? Original, modded, or otherwise?

Welcome. Make sure you grab a blanket and a pillow from her house for your car.

I'll post pics asap. The car is in great shape. Fourth owner. A lot has already been done to the car. I'll list as soon as I get the paperwork. As for the pillow and blanket...she was kind enough to leave it out on the porch before I got home.

Well, the deed is done. The mother-in-law is over for dinner so the wife won't tear me a new one 'til later. She was angry until I told her that the guy who picked it up told me that he would give me an extra grand if he could buy it from me right now. Does not look like it needs anything. The guy before me claims he pumped in $23G in putting it in its present condition. I'll post pics, but my account still considers me a newbie.

Impin' - The car is in great shape already. I'm going to try to keep it as original as possible. I will need to upgrade the tunes (I'm a satellite radio addict). Here is a list of things the previous owner did: Paint (6 years ago; body, engine compartment, dash, spatter paint trunk), 14" redlines with 2000 miles on them, Brakes (new pads, drums, new master cyl, new booster, new stainless lines), new radiator, all new hoses, fuel pump, water pump, washer pump, harmonic balancer, flowmaster dual exhaust, rechromed rear bumper, rechromed taillight frames, replaced weather stripping, replaced all engine gaskets and hoses, Quadra-Jet carb rebuild kit, rear plastic window replaced, detailed engine and engine compartment right down to date correct spark plug wires, new windshield, new interior door handles, arm rest bases and sill plates, new rear ashtrays and courtesy lights, new shocks and springs all around.
So far, it all works. I'll need to work on the convertible top. It works, but is a little lethargic. I was told it could be as simple as topping off the fluid. Gotta look into it. Any opinion on the top would be appreciated.
