65 Dash cleaning help.

Need your help if you had the same problem. I have been trying to clean the lower finned part of my dash(aluminum?)and the more I clean the dirtier it looks. I have tried Wenol, Nevr-Dull, and all kinds of household cleaners with no luck. Anyone have a solution?
Thanks,
Rokit

What you are doing is removing the paint from your dash. Its pot metal painted Argent Silver. You cant polish it.

Your solution is to remove the dash and repaint it.
